SkyView On Hay

In 2011, Jan Johnson & Pat Wright purchased the former BB&T building at 121 Hay Street. Although it had been a series of bars for several decades, the duo could see the potential in the stunning Mid-Century Modern structure. Six months later, SkyView on Hay opened with none other than “Elvis” officiating the first wedding. It seemed a perfect beginning to inaugurate this premiere event facility. Since then, SkyView has hosted hundreds of weddings and other special events. Each event makes Johnson and Wright feel good that their efforts contribute to the happiness of so many.
